Northrop Grumman offers a challenging Engineering Rotational Program for entry level engineers with a B.S. degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering. The Professional Development Program offers the opportunity to experience several different job assignments before making a commitment to remain in a particular position. Mechanical Engineering rotations involve exposure to multiple skill sets within the mechanical engineering discipline such as: thermal analysis simulation, structural analysis simulation, mechanism design simulation, electronic packaging for military applications, environmental testing, and support to hardware build/integration. Typical tools utilized would be MCAD (UGS NX) for 3D modeling and ANSYS/MATLAB for simulations. In addition, rotations would consist of supporting different project areas exposing the candidate to the unique technical challenges inherent with these business areas. Candidates must have less than 1 year of relevant full-time work experience to qualify for the PDP rotation program. Differentiating characteristics include: internship/co-op experience, leadership & teamwork capabilities, interpersonal communications skills, and activities (professional/community/ extracurricular).
• Bachelors of Science degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
• Overall GPA of 3.0 or higher
• U. S. citizen and ability to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance
• Good written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
